1. Company Information
Philox Travel is a registered brand of Öncü Turizm, a licensed tour operator based in Antalya, Türkiye.
By making a booking through our website or affiliated sales channels, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
2. Booking & Payment
All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment unless otherwise stated in writing.
Payments may be processed through secure third-party payment providers integrated into our website.
Philox Travel reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payment is not successfully received or authorized.
By completing a booking, the customer confirms that they are authorized to use the payment method provided.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or through the booking platform.
Our standard cancellation policy is as follows:
- Up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure time: 100% refund
- Less than 24 hours before departure: No refund
- No-show: No refund
Refunds, when applicable, will be processed via the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
For bookings made through Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), the cancellation terms displayed on the respective platform at the time of booking will apply.
4. No-Show Policy
Failure to appear at the designated meeting point at the scheduled time is considered a no-show and is non-refundable.
Late arrivals resulting in missed services are also considered non-refundable.
5. Minimum Participant Requirement
Certain tours require a minimum number of participants to operate.
If the minimum number is not reached, Philox Travel reserves the right to:
- Offer an alternative date
- Offer a similar alternative tour
- Provide a full refund
Guests will be informed in advance whenever possible.
6. Weather & Operational Changes
Certain tours (including but not limited to boat trips, canyon hikes, cave visits, and outdoor safaris) are weather-dependent and subject to operational conditions.
Philox Travel reserves the right to:
- Modify itinerary
- Adjust timing
- Replace activities with similar alternatives
- Cancel the tour for safety reasons
In case of cancellation due to unsafe weather conditions or operational reasons beyond our control, guests will receive either:
- A full refund, or
- The option to reschedule to another available date
7. Health & Participation
Participants must inform Philox Travel of any medical condition, physical limitation, pregnancy, or disability that may affect participation.
Guests participate voluntarily and acknowledge the inherent risks associated with outdoor and adventure activities.
Philox Travel reserves the right to refuse participation if a guest’s condition may pose a safety risk to themselves or others.
8. Liability Limitation
Philox Travel acts as an organizer and intermediary between guests and independent service providers.
While we exercise reasonable care in selecting our suppliers, we are not liable for:
- Injury or damage resulting from participant negligence
- Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings
- Delays due to traffic, weather, or force majeure
- Operational failures of third-party suppliers
Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the tour.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
9. Chargeback Policy
By completing a booking, the customer agrees not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting Philox Travel to seek resolution.
In the event of an unjustified chargeback, Philox Travel reserves the right to provide booking confirmations, communication records, and service documentation to the payment provider as evidence of agreement and fulfillment.
10. Media Release
During tours, photographs and videos may be taken for promotional and marketing purposes.
By participating in a tour, guests grant Philox Travel the right to use such materials on websites, social media platforms, and marketing materials unless they explicitly inform us in writing prior to the tour that they do not wish to appear in any media content.
11. Insurance
Guests are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:
- Medical expenses
- Cancellation
- Personal injury
- Adventure activities
Philox Travel does not provide personal travel insurance coverage.
12. Force Majeure
Philox Travel shall not be held responsible for events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Government regulations
- Pandemics
- Strikes
- Political unrest
- Transportation disruptions
In such cases, alternative arrangements or credit options may be offered where possible.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Turkish courts.
